Ann's Poetry Pages
Hi! If you've found your way here, you must be a poet, or have at least some interest in poetry. Good for you!
I write for fun and relaxation, as a hobby, or sometimes for problem solving, as a self-help tool, and, of course, simply to express myself. I like to spend free time reading, going places with friends, listening to music, antiquing with my hubby and/or my mom, and day-dreaming (hence my about.com forum name "Dreamboat-Annie" (link below).
I've been writing poetry since before I could write well; my mother saved some poems I dictated to her when I was 4, that she'd typed for me. I also like to - don't make time to, but I LIKE to - paint, sketch, and do crafts. Right now I'm making a quilt out of tropical print bandanas. I work for a major insurance company in agency HR, am married 21 years, have two adult children and two grandchildren. (I'm not as old as that sounds, I swear!)
