Approximately 1 oz. each of #10 thread in main color (A) & contrast color (B) Steel hook, size 7 Poly pellets nylon sack (see notes) needle & sewing thread 2 small safety pins. |

Gauge is not critical. Work fairly tight. |

Stop = remove hook, put a safety pin in loop that was on hook, drop color and pick up next color. Work in continuous rounds. |

dec (decrease) = 1 sc over 2 stitches: (insert hook in next st, yo, pull up loop) twice, yo, pull through all 3 loops on hook. |

Stuff with poly pellets in a sack (to keep pellets from working their way out through the stitches). The toe from nylon hose makes a nice sack (cut about 3" high). |

Sl st in next stitch. Finish off, leaving a long tail. Weave tail around last round of stitches and pull tight to close holes. Weave in ends. |
