Obit: Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Darlene Weatherman, 28, and her 3 year old daughter, Gail Renee, who were fatally injured in a two car crash early Thursday morning near Gallatin, were conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday from the Humphreys Christian Church. The Rev. Jim Davis of St. Louis officiated. Mrs. Weatherman, who died at 8:10 Thursday morning at the Cameron hospital where she was taken following the accident, was born in Trenton on October 13, 1939. She was the daughter of John and Zona Peters Boehner. She was married to Gary Weatherman on November 26, 1961. She had taught school for the past two years at Rich Hill. Mrs. Weatherman was a member of the Mt. Zion Christian Church of south of Humphreys and an active member of Model Chapter 458 of the Eastern Star at Humphreys, a member of the White Shrine of Chillicothe, past grand representative of both states of Colorado and Nebraska, and past worthy advisor of the Rainbow Assembly of Newtown. She leaves her husband, Gary and a daughter, Denise Kay, both of the home, and her parents of Humphreys. Gail Renee was born on November 14, 1964 at Milan. She died at 7:40 am Thursday at the Cameron Hospital shortly before the death of her mother. She is survived by her father, Gary Weatherman, and a sister Denise Kay, both of the home; her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Boehner of Humphreys; and the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Weatherman of Rich Hill, Missouri. Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 29, 1968 at the Humphreys Christian Church by the Rev. Jim Davis. "Precious Memories: and "No Night There" were sung by Mr. Kenneth Crawford, accompanied by Mrs. R. E. McCracken. O. E. S. services were conducted by Model Chapel No. 458 of Humphreys - Worthy Matron, Mrs. Grant Hill; Chaplain, Mrs. Perla McKay, Ada, Mrs. Jim Jennings; Ruth, Mrs. Jess Crawford; Esther, Mrs. Eliza Alexander; Martha, Mrs. Virgie Williams; Electra, Mrs. Ruth Marrow. Pallbearers were Gordon Johnson, Charles Callahan, Dean Shipley, Dale Scott, Max Humphreys and Sammie Stafford. Jr. pallbearers were Bari Lee Allen, Charles Keith May, David Boehner, and Dale Lake.
