01/17/2005 -- Welcome to our new Officers for the year, Vice President Matt Platter and Secretary Vickie Lewis. Joe Sikorski and Anna Helmering have also been elected to continue serving in their current positions of President and Treasurer. Thank you all very much. 09/22/2002 -- Several new additions. The Library holdings, maintained seperately by Joel Laws, is a welcome addition to the site. We've provided a link for the MSS WhoWentWhere sheet if you would like to submit material via email to Marty, and some general information has been added about Quartermaster that was not previously included on the web site. 12/20/2001 -- It's that time of year again folks - membership dues are due. If you wait too long to pay, you'll be dropped from the email list and you will stop getting your copy of the Caver. Contact Deb Dumont for more information. If you've already paid you dues, thank you very much! 10/26/2001 -- Revised the design of the MVG web site, and added a page about safety. Hope you enjoy the new look. 10/25/2001 -- The money raised using the donation jar that was on the bar during the Fall 2001 MVOR has been donated and sent off to the Red Cross. The amount? $130.69 Thanks everybody for your support! 06/29/2001 -- The mvor.org domain name goes live. Point your browser to mvor.org for more information. 04/12/2001 -- Noticed that the OHG Spring MVOR website is up and running! 04/01/2001 -- Bennie Smith, the blues artist who played at MVG's last MVOR, has released a new album entitled Shook Up. A great release by a local St. Louis bluesman, I special ordered mine at a local record store and had it in just a few days. A must have if you're a Bennie Smith fan! 03/29/2001 -- Yea! The Spring OHG/MVOR Flyer arrived in my mailbox today! Boooo, the Caver is at the printer, so it won't be printed in this upcoming issue of the newsletter. Grotto members can contact me if you don't get one of your very own, and I'll be glad to mail one out to you. 03/24/2001 -- Introduction of the new MVG Web Site, I hope you enjoy these changes. Tom Cravens originated the MVG web site way back when, and many kudos go out to him for all the hard work he has done over time, he is even the original founder of the Grotto! Enjoy your retirement in Florida, Tom. And thanks to Joe Light for prompting me to start building these pages. I had been considering doing something like this for a while now, but I guess I needed an extra push or two. He secured the unique domain name, MeramecValleyGrotto.org, and I am hosting the new web site on my ISP's server. Thanks to Eugene Vale, Jim Ruedin and Rich VanArsdel, who have contributed some of the pics that were used.
