Sarah Miller was the daughter of Josiah Miller of Rehoboth, MA.
She is buried
at a South Foster, RI. cemetery which was being used in 1930 as a pasture.
Also
buried there, a James Seamans (died 1819) and a Stephen Seamans. Obviously
SFA is telling us that Seamans' were buried there, but the connection
is unknown.
After further review I have found that James and Stephen (mentioned
above)
could be sons of James (
James, James,
Thomas)
and Sarah (Cole) Seamans,
but this is just a guess.

John and Patience lived in Scituate RI., Killingly, CT., and Clarendon,
VT. (in 1780). Patience Hopkins decended from Thomas Hopkins, an
original settler of Providence, RI., he was 2nd cousin of Stephen
Hopkins, who was a signer of the Declaration of Independence.
Since Stephen was born 03/07/1707 in Scituate, RI., and died
07/13/1785, one would think that Patience was more closely
related to him, which would change the above "he was 2nd..."
to "she (Patience) was 2nd...". Just some food for thought!

laid
foundations on which later generations might rear a super-structure
worthy
of the Master Builder (God and his son Jesus); and was connected

Elsy was buried on farm of Aaron Seamans at Northampton, NY.
Thomas and Marian lived in Rehoboth, MA.
SFA DOES show Marian's being born 1790 and 1798.
Page 7 of SFA says that ALL of the children were born in Rehoboth,
MA. while page 19 of the book says that Thomas was born in
Swansea. Seeing as how Martha and Squire were born in Rehoboth
I'll have to assume that Thomas was (husb. of Marian) born there too.
Page 7 of SFA says Thomas was born 04/13/1751, while page 19
says it was 04/03/1751.
** - According to "Erie County, New York Obituaries", by Bill &
Martha Reamy. Page 238, there is *A* Benjamin "Seaman" who died in
Eden, NY on 06/13/1866, age 79. It just so happens that there is one
Benjamin (in SFA) who nearly fits. Benjamin, born 07/04/1787 WOULD
have been 78 years, 11 months IF he died 06/13/1866. So for the time
being I will list it here as a POSSIBLE match until I can get more proof.
