GOOD OLE OKIE FLYING SOCIETY

The GOOD OLE OKIE FLYING SOCIETY is made up of around 30 of the nicest flyers you could hope to meet (with a name like GOOFS...). Our flying field is located less than two miles from downtown Ponca City, Oklahoma, on a reclaimed landfill site. It is about a mile south of Lake Road on Pecan. We have more than 14 acres of mowed grass and a 125' paved runway. Most of our flying is just plain old burning holes in the sky, or "Wiggle the sticks and grin", as we call it.
The field is open any time someone wants to fly, and guests are always welcome. We are AMA sanctioned, so AMA membership is required.
The club has its business meeting on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Pioneer Motor Bank meeting room at 14th and Lake Road.
