The Dry Gulch & Rocky River Railroad is a fictions railroad, one that might have operated around the turn of the century to about 1940.  This is basically a steam era operated railroad using Shay's, 10 wheelers, a Galloping Goose and small diesel engines as motive power. No long trains allowed on this railway.

The location can be anywhere in the country, the scenery is a combination of Dry Rocky country and also a mountainous area with a lake, stream and two waterfalls.  Not to much in dwellings exists except for some farm houses, a church and one small town.

The vegetation consists of 35 different herbs, Mexican Heather, box woods, and miniature Pine Trees.  As you can see below, the lake is full of wonderful plant growth and has many exotic lake creatures, like Shubunkins, Large Fan Tail Goldfish and Gambusia affinis a mosquito larvae eating fish.

You will find the local residence of Dry Gulch doing quite a bit of fishing in the stream, even if the area is posted.  The best fisherman is the Sheriff.
