There are so many fun things to do in Kenya

Delilah and I rang in New Years 1995 at the Carnivore Restaurant with some friends from Nairobi and Great Britain. The Carnivore restaurant/club has a lively atmosphere and many varieties of barbequed meats. At the Simba Saloon (inside The Carnivore) we were introduced to a very potent drink called a dawa. It consists of vodka, white rum, honey, and lime juice. I had a cheesy dribbler with chips too, also known as a cheeseburger and fries.

Daniel, Delilah, and I visited The Langata Giraffe Center. They (the giraffes) had very long tongues and wrapped them around the food pellets that we fed them. Warthogs wandered around the compound eating the dropped pellets.

The four of us (below) shopped for souvenirs in the maze of kiosks, by the city market, in downtown Nairobi. We bought a lot of intricate hand- made items.
