 This quilt will be quite an undertaking. I began my journey on December 12, 2005. The original quilt was completed by Jane Stickle in 1863.  Brenda Papadakis drafted the blocks from the original and published Dear Jane. The quilt has 169 squares, 52 triangles and 4 corner kites.  I am hand piecing each block – at least that’s the plan. I am using Civil War reproduction fabrics, although I am not following the Trip Around the World layout of the original.  

  As of July 22, 2007, I have completed 53 Blocks, 8 Triangles, 1 Corner Kites, & 1095 Pieces.
