Musical Shelties Logo

gold note Musical Shelties began in 1988 through one little 5 month old blue bitch named Dee Dee (Stonewall Musical Fanfare).

gold note Sandy Staffan of Fanfare Shelties had purchased Dee Dee from Fred Bisaquino and Ed Sanchez of Stonewall Kennels. Sandy offered me a co/ownership in Dee Dee for a pick puppy back. Sandy became my friend and mentor teaching me as a novice how to groom, show and to hang in there when the going got tough.

gold note When the time came for Dee Dee to be bred, it was decided that she would be bred to Sandy's Ch. Fanfare's Incumbent UD (Mac). I thought Mac was the neatest dog in the world, always so full of himself and happy.

gold note From this litter Dee Dee and Mac produced Jamie (Ch. Musical Hopes And Dreams) who was my first show dog. Also from this litter came Scotty (Ch. Fanfare's Highlander UD) who was Sandy's pick.

gold note Needless to say, I was hooked. So began the melodies at Musical Shelties. I hope you enjoy the tour of the Musical Hit Parade.
