| We gritch and grumble about our problems, and if real misfortune befalls us we ask "Why?" We talk about "freak accidents," and "being in the wrong place at the wrong time." We say things like, "If my taxi hadn't been so slow, causing me to miss the plane, I'd be dead today." I wonder. | |
| Could it be possible that there is no such thing as "chance" and that, before we are born into this life, we plan the circumstances of our lives, even our misfortunes, and many other details up to and including the time and manner of our deaths? Why ever would we do so? | |
| So we can learn the lessons we need to learn in order that we might make progress in our journey back toward unity with the Divine? | |
