David is from Washington state and graduated from Pullman High School. He also
graduated from Washington State University in
1992 with a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering. He's a Software
Architect/Consultant in the Dallas, Texas
metroplex. His main hobbies include music, cars, and
recently his 2003 red Corvette. A few of the Slaughter Family's favorite
vacations have been Disney World Orlando
and Cancun, Mexico.
They enjoy taking family vacations to different locations whenever possible!

Carolynn was raised an "Air Force Brat" and
was born in New Mexico. She has
also lived in Okinawa, Texas,
Alaska, New
York, Idaho, Utah,
Japan, California,
and Washington. She has also been
to the Philippines,
Korea, Mexico
and Canada. She
graduated from high school at Yokota
High School at Yokota Air Base, Japan.
She is a Senior Personal Financial Representative (Loan Officer) ("PFR")
for a major bank. She currently ranks 7th within her company in the state of Texas for production ... so her company goal is to maintain this ranking and win a trip for two to Miami! Her interests include gardening, landscaping,
traveling, and the Internet. She also enjoys entering online sweepstakes with
the biggest win being a Kawasaki jetski. Both David and Carolynn
are currently Den Leaders for the church Cub Scout Bears. More importantly,
David and Carolynn are parents of three beautiful
children!

Jackie" (Jacquelyn
Renee) was born in Washington.
She is 14 years old. She likes to read, listen to music, jazz dance, and sing.
Jackie was awarded 1st Place
in a solo singing contest last year. She
loves to baby-sit and loves animals with a special interest in marine life.
"Johnny" (John Emery Leroy - named after his two Grandpas, John
Slaughter and the late Emery L. Davids) was born in Utah
and is 10 years old. He likes to ride his bicycle, play baseball and football,
and is a computer whiz. His main
position in baseball is shortstop and has been called a “natural” by his
coaches. He was selected for the All
Star team this year but unfortunately had to turn it down because of
vacation. Last year in football, he
played Cornerback and Defensive Line. He is also in the "Gifted & Talented
Excel" program in his school, and loves math and P.E.
"Kristi" (Kristine Lee-Ann - her middle name is after her late
Grandpa Davids "aka
Lee among military friends - Grandpa was aka Lucky
among family members) was born in New Mexico
and is 9 years old. She loves to draw pictures, dance, and swim. She is an
accomplished tap dancer usually being the youngest in her classes and is also
in the "Gifted & Talented Excel" program in school.
Yes, even Texas gets snow .... although not very often!
