This page is a collection of articles and some studies on the new drug, Infliximab or Remicade as it is more commonly called. I thank everyone for any contributions they made to this page. If you have more current information please e-mail me with it. I am also conducting a very informal study of Remicade. If you have tried Remicade and don't mind sharing your experiences, please feel free to e-mail and give any input on your treatment. Maybe things such as: date of infusion, reactions to infusions, response to infusion and how long before the response was noted, types of response, type of disease...crohn's or fistulizing crohn's, and some sort of numerical scale based upon things such as decrease in bowel movements, decreased pain, increase in quality of life. I know it is all subjective and relative, but the more we share, the better equipped we become to help others make decision about the medicine, as well, hopefully, as being able to help the drug companies understand the drug better over the long haul. I AM NOT a representative for any drug firm, just a Crohn's patient for 23 years. Ideas and comments are welcome.
