PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN
Presbyterian Women in the Congregation of First Presbyterian Church (PW) meet twice a month to support the mission of the Presbyterian Church, to help one another grow in Christian faith and understanding, and to act in Christian concern for others.  The women meet monthly afternoon or evenings in small groups called circles, for study and fellowship.  The circles meet in association the second Wednesday of each month in Westminster Hall when a brief business meeting is held, luncheon is served and an informative program is presented to the group.  They offer their time, talents and money to support various projects including the Fellowship of the Least Coin; the Festival of Sharing, Hunger Fund, Presbyterian Children's Services and many other specially selected causes.  Every woman who is a member of First Presbyterian Church is by reason of that membership a part of the Presbyterian Women in Congregation.  To become an active member of PW, see information in the Sunday bulletin, the monthly newsletter "PresbyTimes" or call the church office for the name of an individual you may contact.
