SENIOR HIGH The Senior High Youth Fellowship, grades 9 through 12, provides opportunities to learn about Christian decision making, vocations, worship, and theological questions. The group seeks to develop relationships through fellowship: such as service projects, caravans to missions, and activities (hayrides, ice skating, retreats, parties, games, etc.). The Senior Highs volunteer as ushers, members of the bell and sanctuary choir, and lead worship for Senior High Youth Sunday. The Senior Highs plan their own study, social activities, and fund raisers. A light supper precedes the meeting.
JUNIOR HIGH
The Junior High Youth Fellowship, grades 7 and 8, seeks to build relationships with games, activities, and socials which help them develop Christian relationships. A light supper is included as part of their meeting. Some of their activities include bowling, lock-ins, and music.
TUXIS
TUXIS is the confirmation class for 9th graders. The class is taught by the pastors and other leaders of the church. They learn about the beliefs, history and organization of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Their studies also include the history and development of the Bible.
ACOLYTES
The 5th and 6th graders study the worship and symbolism of the church as preparation for service as acolytes in the worship services of the local church. Their activities include videos, filmstrips and crafts dealing with the seasons, colors, and symbols of the church year. They also learn the responsibilities and duties of an acolyte.
CHILDREN
Programs and activities are provided for all children from the nursery through the 4th grade. On Sunday we have classes for all children, a children's sermonette during the worship service, and Pre C.O.O.L. and C.O.O.L. Kids (Children's Church) for age 4 through 4th grade. There is a choir during the Church School time for children age 4 through 3rd grade. Special activities for children include: the Christmas Craft Workshop, Vacation Church School, a visit from St. Nicholas, and all church activities such as the All Church Birthday Party, the Halloween Party, the All Church Picnic, and the Palm Sunday Procession. Child care is provided for all worship services, church school and other meetings (as needed) by our Child Care Coordinator.
