Clyde Holscher is a native Kansas who has fished the lakes and rivers of Northeast Kansas for over 30 years. Clyde is a licensed an insured guide who offers full or half day trips.
Individual instructions - when, where & how to fish what, which involves most species. Learn how to make your time on the water more productive and enjoyable.
We encourage selective harvest, and we will clean fish, if requested. Cleaning time comes off of the fishing time.
Area lakes include: Clinton, Melvern, Milford, Perry, Pomona and Wolf Creek. State and community lakes include, Leavenworth, Centrailia and Pony Creek, And, a leased water shed. (Also open to suggestions.)
Tackle is provided, if requested. Client is responsible for replacing broken or lost equipment. The cost of live bait is the responsibility of the client.
1997 Ranger boat, Shakespeare rod & reels. Salty Sucker plastics, J.J. Spinner baits, Bobs Cheese (Punch) bait and Digger Anchors.
Guide TRIP COST - The cost of a one day guided trip for 1 or 2 persons is $200.00, $50.00 extra for a third person. A $75.00 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm that day of fishing. Deposits may be paid by check or money order. The balance of the trip to be paid in cash only. Deposits are not returned because of cancellations, however should circumstances arise that necessitates your changing the confirmed date, then the deposit will be applied against the new date. (Reschedules require 10 days advance notice, and a $25.00 rescheduling charge.) Prices for 1/2 day trips are $125.00 for 1 or 2 persons & $50.00 extra for third person. Tag boats are allowed for your group at a charge of $100.00 per boat.
Requirements:
-Life jackets must be worn when the big motor is started.
-Insurance does not permit alcohol in the boat.
-Client must have valid Kansas Fishing license.
-Dress appropriately for weather conditions.
