Please make sure that all information about a job is on the artwork itself. This should include size, amount, who the job is for, when it is needed, shipping information and all PMS colors.
Before sending your artwork please compress it. On PCs the most popular format is ZIP on the Mac it is Stuffit. This makes transfers much faster and preserves Macintosh file creator and type data. If your file is larger than 20 megs. please call before uploading.
Macintosh users need to put extensions on their files (somefile.tif) and take out any spaces if files are not compressed (not recommended).
If you are using a PC and your artwork uses fonts you will need to convert them to outlines/curves before sending it. We can read Illustrator, Freehand, QuarkXpress and anything Photoshop can open. Remember if you use Quark you can not convert your text to outlines. We will try to replace them with Mac versions if we have them but this causes text changes sometimes because Mac and PC fonts even with the same name are slightly different sometimes. Artwork that is simply a photo can be saved as Photoshop, TIFF or Photoshop EPS. Also take out any spaces in file names.
If you are working on a Mac you need to send us your fonts or convert them to curves (preferred). We can read Illustrator, QuarkXpress, Freehand, Pagemaker and of course Photoshop files.
If your document is just a picture you can send it as a TIFF, Photoshop EPS, or native Photoshop file. Saving it as a TIFF will let you compress it easily.
Don't forget to include any placed files used in your layout or to convert their fonts to outlines.
