What are the BSARC repeaters ------

Our Club repeaters are "open" --, i.e., they are usable by all licensed hams that care to take advantage of their locations in eastern Jackson County, Missouri.  The antennas are located on high structures that gives wide area coverage for our members and all that pass by.  The basic UHF repeater transmitter and receiver are commercial GE equipment with high quality, tuned duplexers and heliax to the antennas.   The VHF repeater is a Quantar T5365A with tuned duplexers and hard line to a multi-bay antenna.

One advantage for our members, besides the camaraderie, is that we have links from the main UHF repeater to a 2-meter radio that currently provides communications to nearly two dozen channels which include many remote repeaters in western Missouri and eastern Kansas.  Additionally, we can connect to multiple UHF channels that include many remote repeaters in the same coverage area as the 2-meter links.  Each remote band is expandable as the members desire.
