This shot of Mars was taken at 10:17 PM on June 25, 2001 from my backyard near Houston, Texas. It was taken with a Cookbook 245 CCD camera on a Celestron C-11 using a Barlow and working at f/18. The image is a composite of three shots taken through red, green, and blue filters. Each shot was exposed for 0.2 seconds. The images were processed using AIP4Win and PhotoStyler.
