"Shion, Masahiko's things are here. Help bring them in!"

"Get Papa to do that! I'm in the shower!"

"Papa's work is late. He needs to concentrate. Today, he's sequestered. Did you forget?"

"Well, well... You sure are enthusiastic, Mama... Masahiko-san isn't going to arrive until tonight. You've got until then to clean." Besides, could that idiot really have forgotten everything? He was fairly drunk when he saw Mama nude. And he did faint after that --- and got a big bump on the head too... So it is possible.

(Flashback to Masahiko being unconscious)

"Masahiko-san"

"Oh my..."

It could also be why he showed up the next morning like nothing had happened.

(Next Morning)

"I hope to be of help to the household."

But it was already a little late for remorse...! (Shion thinks back on Day1 and starts laughing lightly)

"Hm... What are you grinning at over here by yourself?"

(Scene switches to Masahiko ridding his bicycle on his way to the Wakanae's. He's happily looking at the picture taken at Shion's party a couple of days before.)

"Family... My family..." It still hasn't sunk in, otherwise I would be screaming it to the world... Because as of today, my family has increased to four. YAHOO! Yukari-san will be my mother. Sora-san, my father... and -- as for Shion-san...she'll be my younger sister! (Though only by one year...) A sister...siblings... what a good sound that has~~ How can such a succession of words make such an impression? We don't have the blood connection of real brothers and sisters... This happens a lot in the dramas... The two of them will be together, one helping the other with their lessons. And then, after a while, things would change...

(Masahiko imagines the scene in his mind's eye)

"....big brother...." (She stares at him with love.)

"Shion-san..?"

Now they are naked and Shion is throwing herself in his arms.

Hojo: "They're suddenly naked... Hey!"

"Big brother... I...I...!

"This won't do, Shion..." -- "Wah!"

Snapped back to reality by honking horns, Masahiko barely escapes being run down by a car.

Man: "You idiot! Look at the signal light!"

"But... After that bad experience on our first meeting, I'm not so sure she could go that way. No matter. I just have to take the innitiative. I'll start over from scratch and hit them hard and we'll see where that takes me! I have to put on the older brother attitude and secure my position. hit 'em hard!"

Masahiko reaches the Wakanae house.He rings the bell, but no one immediately comes to answer it.

"Aren't they here? Hahaha, they probably weren't expecting me this early."

Suddenly, he's surprised when an intercom comes on.

Voice: "Yes. Who is it?"

Huh...? That isn't Yukari-san or Shion-san's voice. Who is that?

Voice: "We're a little busy here. What do you want?"

"Ah... yes. That is... today, I... came to help..."

Voice: "Ah... ah, at last you're here! You're late!"

"Huh?"

Voice: "You're at the ground floor entrance. Come on up to the one on the second floor. It's unlocked."

"The entrance on the second floor? Ah... there is another one, upstairs... What a strange house. I didn't notice this before when I was here." (Masahiko goes up the stairs and knocks on the door.) "Excuse me ~~" "What part does the person I spoke to a minute ago, play? It was kind of a rough greeting."

He ducks inside and bumps into someone.

Voice: "Saying it was rough is rather harsh, isn't it?"

"Eh?" (Masahiko is comfronted by the tallest, largest woman he has ever seen.) "Some, somebody help me...!" (Held by the back of his shirt, Masahiko is brought into a room. Within, he can see three others working furiously at desks.) What's this...?

"Sora Sensei, the editorial department filled our request and sent us an assistant." (Sora is working away and never even looks up.)

Sora.... sensei...?

"Um.... pleased to meet you. Now...Kasu-chan, please take charge and show him what to do."

"Yes."

"Ah... that is, Sora..." (Masahiko gets yanked away.)

"Well, this is your station. You know how to ink this, right? Fill the places marked with an "x" with black."

What is this...? Manga...? Then Sora-san...runs a manga house...? Eh...A woman work force. Then these women must be Sora-san's...assistants...?

"Would you like me to lend you a hand?"

"This is not a good place for that! We have to turn this over to the print shop tonight."

"If you hurry, an older sister might give you something later."

"Ah... that is..."

: "Oh my! You are fine. Real cute.You're my type. And if you work hard, I'll give you good service." (She comes onto him strong)

"Ah... This is wrong. It's all a mistake.I"m..." (Masahiko suddenly stands up, knocking over a vial of ink onto the manga pages.)

Girls: "Ah~~~ Kyaaa, the prints! What did you do? Hurry up and pour water on it! That's no good! It'll damage the paper!"

A sudden slap on the table from Sora's workstation silences everyone.

: "Da...damn~! Hurry up and get out of here!" (She starts shoving Masahiko toward the door.) "Now, now, do it, hurry!"

"Huh?"

"Oh~~oh~~oh~~oh"

"Hey, Mama, did you buy enough?" (Shion and Yukari are on their way back to the house from the market.)

"If I'm going to make Masahiko-san a feast, I've got to make more than one dish."

"Oh... Still, Papa's working today. Tonight, as always, Papa will be upstairs and not in the house."

"That's right! I forgot."

"In that case, Mama, you're planning on going through all that trouble for nothing... KYAAA" (An escaping Girl 1 and Masahiko smash into Shion.) "Ow~~w. Hiromi-san, what's going on? Mama~"

"Shion-san!"

"Oh, Masahiko-san."

"Ah, Yukari-san, you know this kid?"

"What's going on?"

"The helper slipped and sensei snapped..."

"Helper?"

"WHERE IS THAT HELPER? That damn kid dripped on one of my sheets at the 11th hour and I want to give him my foot! Let me go! I'm going to kill him!"

"Sora Sensei, you're going to fall!"

"You got his temper going..."

"Haa... well"

"Let me go, I tell you!"

"Sense ~~~"

"PAPA!"

"....ah. Shi...Shion..."

"This helper you're looking for, did you by chance ever look at his face?" (She shoves Masahiko in front of him.)

"Ma... Masahiko-...kun?"

"He... hello.... Hahaha...."

(Inside the house)

"--------The second floor entrance is for Papa's work place only. So it's best not to go near there. During worktime... especially just before deadline, Papa --- gets very tense. Therefore he won't put up with any careless actions. Didn't I tell you that, Masahiko-kun?"

"Haa.... Haha... k*u*n?" (The ending "-kun" is for equals or people younger than you. Less formal than "-san". This deflates his whole idea of getting her to see him as her superior older brother.)

"What is it?"

"Ah...no, nothing..." Made a smashing impression right off....

"This is your room. Use it however you like. Your things arrived a little while ago." (The room opens out into a patio.)

"This is an awesome view! And you guys are really giving me this good of a room?" (He is ecstatic.)

"Is it true? Do you really remember nothing?"

"Huh?"

"Last week, the night you came..."

(Masahiko makes a face.) "Oh, did I do something? When I drink too much beer, I tend to forget things... All I got was a throbbing headache, right here~~"

"Huh?" The bump...Could he really have forgotten...?

"Say, did I do something...weird?"

(Shion smiles) "Do you really want to know?"

"------Shion. Masahiko-san. It's almost supper time. Where could the two of them have gone off to, I wonder? What could be going on.... I feel uneasy about this." (Hojo: Women's (?) intuition?)

(Do Re Mi Karaoke bar)

"Why are we at a karaoke place?"

"Papa should be here, setting up."

"Setting up?"

"It's like a ceremony they go through every week after the work is done. Now you'll see how they amuse themselves."

"But this is..."

"Here it is!"

"Macho, Macho Man! All I want to be is a Macho Man! Oh... Oh~~ Shion, Masahiko-san, it's great that you've come!" (Sora is somewhat tipsy)

"Hi, Shion-san."

"Oh my, you came too. We can start. Come on, sit down, have a drink!" (She clamps onto Masahiko.)

"Ah, no, I've had enough alcohol."

"What? You won't drink with us after we worked together and even saved your life on top of that?"

"We...well."

"It's okay, it's okay. The papers were saved, so it's now time to celebrate!"

"Darn it all... But how did thinking about that night bring me to this place?"

"Everyone, listen up! I have an introduction to make! As of today, we've added a new member to our family. And Yanagiba, Masahiko, it's you!

"Getting carried away, aren't we, Papa?"

Everyone (Except Kasu, who has been slurping her drinks since they got here): "Welcome to the Wakanae House! Congradulations!"

A new member...to the family..... A new member to the family! (Tears roll down his cheeks in happiness.)

Girls: "What? Masahiko-san, you're crying. Why don't you take a seat. You shouldn't cry. Have another drink!"

Sheesh.... He's got a deeply emotional nature... "Wa-chan, should you guys give Masahiko-san an example of what it really means to celebrate?"

"....slurp.... ....well then. We should give a blessing for Yanagiba-san getting a new family. First -- Niigata, Kazuko will give you her naked body."

"Wait for me! Second -- Nakamura, Hiromi will give him her body ~~"

"Third -- will be Yamazaki, Makoto ~~"
