2002 St. Louis Food Run

This year 25 to 30 of us will be revisiting one of my favorite BBQ joints in St. Louis, Mo, Bandana's BBQ. The sign says "Smell That Smoke" and if the wind is just right you can smell it blocks away. Hmmmm good. It is unlikely that you will leave hungry.

We will be staying at the Oak Grove Inn which is just a short 3 mile ride from the hotel. This means we will have even MORE time for kicking tires and swapping lies back at the hotel with a few seasoned (or would that be crusty) Iron Butt veterans, a Rallymaster or two as well as some regular motorcycling folks that like to ride and eat. (like me)

We will be gathering at the hotel during the day and then we will ride over to the BBQ joint at around 5PM for a 5:30PM dinner. If you find that you are running a little late, you can just show up at the Restaurant.

So far, I have arranged at least 8 and possibly 10 double rooms and a few singles. If the need arises, I think we can block out more rooms. The deadline for hotel reservations has been extend just for us to October 11th, 2002. Check in time is NO LATER than 6pm on Saturday October 26th. If your room is not being held with a credit card payment, it will be offered to the public at 6PM sharp.

So, gather up your gear and ride on over to St. Louis, Mo for some BBQ eating and quality jaw jacking.
