This is our 1989 Cajun Espirit
Purchased 07/27/02 from an Individual.
We made it back from Norman, Oklahoma. just fine. However, we
did have to do a little rewiring on the trailer at the local
UHAUL branch before leaving town. Also, the plug-in connection
on the truck had some signs of corosion so I had it replaced.
Anyway, this is a picture of our beautiful 13 year young Cajun/MasterCrafter
Fish-n-Ski. Take note of the 50lb. thrust
MinnKota Trolling Motor, which shows evidence of it's fishing roots.
And the cushions in the bow area give evidence to it's roots as a sport
runabout.
The bottom cushions flip over and cross sides to give you a large casting
deck when in "fishing mode".
Here is a pretty good picture of the Aft of our boat. The Motor
is a 1988 Evinrude 110HP V4. It ran very strong and got the
Boat up on plane in a hurry. Wendy was watching from the dock
by the boat ramp and was very impressed by this.
This is what the seating looks like when you are in "Sport/Ski" mode.
The back seats will lift out easily for use on
pedestals for fore deck fishing and aft deck fishing. I also
have two gas charged adjustable pedestals with leaning seats
for the serious flipping and moving around that goes on while Bass
Fishing.
Here is a view of the back seats folded down and the deck extensions
hinged forward ready to
receive the fishing pedestal. (pedestal slips into the small hole in
front of the motor)
The square hatch between the two rear seats is the Aft Livewell.
And of course I need to include a picture of the cockpit, dash instruments
include a trim/tilt gauge, depth flasher,
tachometer, speedometer, fuel gauge, and an assortment of switches
for the horn, Nav/Anchor lights, Bilge pump, livewell Aeration.
What's a day out on the lake in the hot sun without a tasty cold beverage,
our Cajun Espirit comes complete
with a large Ice Chest mounted in the passenger side dash.
And, last but not least, we have a JVC AM/FM/CD player hooked up to
an Alpine Amp driving four speakers.
