Films in the Can:

Spring 2001, "Cine Cafe: With Allen Daviau"; 3/4 tape multicamera setup, apr. 1 hour.  Position: editor.
Work in Progress.  A college produced interview show with the cinematographer Allen Daviau.  Edited on the AVID.  Intended for exhibition and sale.  Produced for the Moving Image Arts Department, College of Santa Fe, Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Spring 2001, "Cine Cafe: With Billy Webber"; 3/4 tape multicamera setup, apr. 1 hour.  Position: editor.
Work in Progress.  A college produced interview show with the editor Billy Webber.  Edited on the AVID.  Intended for exhibition and sale.  Produced for the Moving Image Arts Department, College of Santa Fe, Santa Fe, New Mexico.

December 2000, "Untitled"; Black and white 16 mm with sync sound.  Position: assistant director.
A satire on the fact that humans are afraid of the unknown and tend to destroy what they cannot understand.  Class project for Intro to Production, MOV 212 at the College of Santa Fe, Santa Fe, New Mexico.

November 2000, "The Dream"; Black and white 16 mm, silent, apr. 1 minute thirty seconds.  Position: writer / director / actress / editor.
A silent film about a dream where I discover a porcelain doll in the rocks of a ravine and break it causing a film strip to pop out.  The film strip morphs into a snake and back into film again.  Produced for Intro to Production, MOV 212 at the College of Santa Fe, Santa Fe, New Mexico.

October 2000, "A Scene from Moron Combat"; 3/4 tape, apr. 4 minutes.  Position: assistant director / editor.
A project meant to introduce the concept of shooting for coverage.  Scene from a student written script.  Edited on the Media 100.  Produced for Intro to Production, MOV 212 at the College of Santa Fe, Santa Fe, New Mexico.

July 1998, "It Happened on a Sunday..."; VHS color video, 1 minute and thirty seconds.  Position: writer / director / camera operator.
A comedic silent piece about a young woman writing in her journal.  She is disturbed by strange sounds coming from the door.  Upon investigation she discovers a broken pencil outside her door which seems to greatly disturb her.

May 1998, "The Guitar"; VHS color video, Apr. 4 minutes long.  Position: writer / director / editor.
A video to the song The Guitar by They Might be Giants about a band who has infinite problems, one of which is that the manager does not know who is playing the guitar.  Produced for dual credit (high school and college credit) in a community college course:  "Digital Audio and Video Production"; Richland Community College, Richardson, Texas.

April 1998, "Steel Magnolias"; VHS color video, Apr. 1 hour.  Position: director of videotaping / editor.
An edited video of a Richardson High School Theater Magnet production of the play, Steel Magnolias.  Produced for extra credit in a second year communications class at Richardson High School, Richardson, Texas.

February 1998, "How Many?"; VHS color video, Apr. 3 minutes.  Position: writer / director / camera operator
A silent piece done as a parody of the many light bulb jokes.  An Irishman, an Aggie, a feminist and a man all try to figure out various ways of changing a light bulb and end up trying a very challenging method.  Produced for dual credit (high school and college credit) in a community college course:  "Digital Audio and Video Production"; Richland Community College, Richardson, Texas.

November 2000, "A Conversation with Sun Min Park"; multicamera live shoot to 3/4 tape, apr. 1.5 hours.  Position: clips editor / video tape operator.
An interview with producer/director Sun Min Park.  Produced for the Moving Image Arts Department, College of Santa Fe, Santa Fe, New Mexico.

November 2000, "Cine Cafe: With Rosie Perez and Seth Rosenfield"; multicamera live shoot to 3/4 tape, apr. 1.5 hours.  Position: clips editor / video tape operator.
An interview with actress Rosie Perez and writer/director Seth Rosenfield.  Produced for the Moving Image Arts Department, College of Santa Fe, Santa Fe, New Mexico.

December 1999, "Cine Cafe: With Allen Daviau"; multicamera live shoot to 3/4 tape, apr. 1.5 hours.  Position: PA / Video Tape Operator.
An interview with cinematographer Allen Daviau taped in front of a live audience.  Produced for the Moving Image Arts Department, College of Santa Fe, Santa Fe, New Mexico.

December 1998, "Zales Meeting Highlights"; Media 100 program file, Apr. 45 minutes.  Position: intern / editor.
A video of highlights from the Zales Corporation National Sales Meeting for 1998.  Edited on the Media 100 non-linear editor.  Produced for ScreenPlay Productions, Farmer's Branch, Texas.

May 1998, "RHS 1st Annual Battle of the Bands"; VHS color video, Apr. 2 hours.  Position: director.
A video of a contest held at Richardson High School between four student bands.  Produced for extra credit in a second year communications class at Richardson High School, Richardson, Texas.

January 1998, "Heroine Hits Home"; VHS color video, Apr. 3 hours.  Position: director.
A discussion forum on the heroine problem in the communities of Plano and Richardson Texas, video taped for and televised on  Richardson Independent School District's cable channel, RITV.  Produced for RITV and the Richardson Independent School District in conjunction with the Richardson High School Communications Magnet, Richardson, Texas.

November 1996, "Northwood Hills Elementary Weekly News"; VHS color video, 6 editions, Apr. 20 minutes each.  Position:  director.
The first of several bi-weekly news programs aired on closed circuit television at Northwood Hills Elementary, Richardson, Texas.  Written and anchored by the sixth grade students from the school with technical help from the students in the Richardson High School Communications Magnet.  Produced for extra credit for the first year magnet communications program at Richardson High School, Richardson, Texas.

September 1996 - December 1996, "High School Football on TCI"; weekly public access cable television show.  Position: production intern.
Regional high school football games were televised weekly on a public access channel.  As an intern, my duties included set-up and strike of cameras, cables, and audio equipment; operation of cameras; and the running of the instant replay deck.  Done for extra credit in the first year magnet Communications program at Richardson High School, Richardson, Texas.
 
 

Other:

July 1998, "A Picture is Worth a Thousand Dictionary Definitions"; written workbook and series of images drawn in PhotoShop.  Position: author / artist.
A demo for the  What's the Word?  vocabulary building program for teachers considering using the course.  The demo consists of a supplemental workbook with exercises and a video presentation that teaches the words using pictures and live action skits.  This demo is used during teacher inservices in order to convince schools and school districts to buy the What's the Word? program.  Produced for Vocabulary Enterprises, Ltd.; Addison, Texas as part of my work there as an executive assistant.

May 1998, "Poetry by Lacy Boggs"; DIRECTOR file, Apr. 4 minutes.  Position: creator /
programmer / author.
A multimedia presentation in DIRECTOR of four selected poems with music, video and animation.  Produced for dual credit (high school and college credit) in a community college course:  "Intro to DIRECTOR"; Richland Community College, Richardson, Texas.

November 1997, "Castle Tour"; AVI video file, Apr. 1 minute and thirty seconds. Position: director / animator.
A short 3D animated tour of a castle built in Truespace 3D animator.  Produced for dual credit (high school and college credit) in a community college course:  "Intro to 3D Graphics and Animation"; Richland Community College, Richardson, Texas.

October 1997, "Communications Textbook"; a textbook to be used in the Richardson High School Magnet Communications course.  Position: contributing author / editor
As my instructor at this time made ready to leave the program, he and I wrote and distributed copies of a textbook designed specifically to meet the needs of the Communications program including instructions for operation equipment (AMIGA editing systems, Vidionics Character Generators, SVHS decks and cameras, etc.), guidelines for projects, and ideas for possible future projects.

July 1997, "Camp Sweeny"; BETA video, Apr. 4 minutes.  Position: reporter / writer / editor.
A feature story for the HSTN news program about a summer camp in Texas for diabetic children.  Edited on the AVID non-linear editor.  Produced for HSTN, a national satellite television station, and Westcott Communications, Carrollton, Texas.

July 1997, "FETN Sports"; BETA video, 5 minutes.  Position: writer / producer.
A monthly sports program aired on FETN consisting of stories originally produced by CNN sports.  Produced for FETN, a national satellite television station, and Westcott Communications, Carrollton, Texas.  Aired nationally on FETN during the month of July, 1997.

June 1997, "John Kehoe Interview"; BETA video, Apr. 2 minutes.  Position: writer.
A story on the AFTN weekly news program featuring an interview with John Kehoe, author of Mind Power, conducted by Lorri Allen.  Produced for AFTN, a national satellite television station, and Westcott Communications, Carrollton, Texas.  Aired nationally on AFTN during the month of June, 1997.
