Here are a few of my humble attempts at creative writing arranged by category:

Short Fiction:

•  Watering the Lawn - A story of a young man's first kiss.  Winner of the 1999 first place Judge's Choice award at the school, district, and regional levels of the Texas Cultural Arts contest.
•  The Vigil - When four estranged friends are unexpectedly reunited at their beloved professor's death bed, they rediscover something they thought they had lost long ago.  Winner of the 1998 first place Judge's Choice award at the school, district, and regional levels of the Texas Cultural Arts contest.
•  Daydream Believers - What people think of you, and what you yourself are thinking are two different things entirely.  This story written for the Dimensions of Creativity class at CSF is based on that idea.

•  Sci-Fy -  This is a completely unfinished novel-beginning about a branch of the army fighting a war against alien invaders.  I started this in 1994 and have sort-of been pidling with it ever since.  I've recently rewritten the first two chapters, but never got any further than that.  It is rather long, (fifteen chapters) so be sure to save enough time.
•  Fantasy - Charlie Anderson gave me the idea for this fantasy story and he and I have been trying to co-write it for a month or two now.  It's slow going (because neither of us have much free time) but we're having fun.  I'll update it as we get further along.

•  Chaos Theory - An online magazine that publishes poems, short stories, and other random writings.  Possibly interested in publishing my material.
• The Quill Society - This is the place to meet and greet for young writers.  I was an active member in the e-mail role playing game for some time.  Big fun.  I'm also a member of the Board of Critics, so if you need something critisized, I'm your man.  Um, woman.
