Watusi is back! (May 31, 2007) ...

After far too long, there’s a new Watusi release! Issue #21 features jam strips by talented cartoonists like Tom Cherry, Larned Justin, Larry Blake, Matt Corrigan, Nate Corrigan, Mark Plaid and others. You can pick up your copy at Astrokitty Comics & More, or order it for $1.00 + stamp direct from Dale. It’s FREE COMIC BOOK DAY! (May 5, 2007) ...

Join Dale at Astrokitty Comics & More for free sketches & a full schedule of events ... and (of course) FREE comic books! If you are ouside the Lawrence area and would like to sample the Invasion of the Space Amazons from the Purple Planet series that Dale did with writer Wendy Griswold, this is the time to do it! Simply send a 9x12 S.A.S.E. (6 oz., $1.59) to Dale before May 21, 2007, and you can get the FCBD 2007 edition, collecting the first three issues of the series ... over 100 pages of comics! Watusi interactive comic strip back online (April 1, 2007) ...

It’s no joke! While Dale gets his act together and finally finishes the next issue of the Watusi comic book, he’s revived the interactive comic strip! With a change in his publishing plans for this jam comic, it now means that the story is only half over - so there are still plenty of chances for you to play along! Help shake up the status quo of this story and send in your ALL-AGES suggestion now! Check out the online comic strips page to get caught up to speed!

Larry’s Kitchen #79 debuts! (January 24, 2007) ...

Dale’s latest comic hits the stands of Astrokitty Comics & More during the MINICOMICPALOOZA! Dale will be doing sketches and drawings there all afternoon, so stop by and say hi and meet other local and regional cartoonists (Tom Avery, Travis Fox, W.T. Harmon, John C. Ralston, and others)!
Larry’s Kitchen #79 is a 16-page digest, featuring a 7-page Rocket Rockne adventure, a poetic silent piece ("A Garden of Umbrellas"), letters, reviews, and a goofy 1-pager to round out the package. This issue's cover inked by Michael Munshaw.
