1:144 scale World War I Observation Balloons for Wings of War miniatures gaming
These are 1/144 scale balloons that I make for the Wings of War game. I am really happy with this game system as it is truly a fast play game that is easy to learn yet flexible enough to add rules where ever you think they are needed. These pics are from several of my eBay auctions. email me directly if you are interested. I am about to start casting these in resin soon and I am considering makine them in 1/300 scale for WWII barrage balloons.
15mm Ancients for Might of Arms and DBA
My Persian army that I envisioned when I was a lad (35 years ago) finally gains their scythed chariots (which they damned well need with all those hoplites I have now <g>)
Might of Arms in 15mm is the best way to do Ancients IMO (Man does not live by Point Blank alone!)
Squat Imperial Assault Troopers
(AKA Star Wars Zero-G Assault Troopers, circa 1990!)
I bought these old West End Miniatures Star Wars Zero-G Imperial Troopers 17 years ago mainly as proxy power armored troops for my space dwarves (aka "squats"). But, I was also going to use them to supplement my storm troopers so white was always to be the color scheme (I am never satisfied with my white paint jobs). Well both my squats and storm troopers have soldiered on without them for quite some time. But, they are now finally painted! I have only 10 of these and I had to add/mod two for heavy weapons and two more NCOs with power fists. The "knob-antenna" mod was a whim and the power fists are done in a sparkle finish that really does not come across well in photos (really!)

(real happy with how these cheap, easy alien doors turned out...now I just need to finish the alien ship)
