Spirits Promise is the Matriarch
of our herd. When I decided to start raising Alpacas I wanted to start
small and enjoy the animals as my herd grew. I looked around for the
right gal to get me started and found her in Spirit. Her date of birth
is Aug 1989. Her sire is Truckee River Grapenuts and her dam is Truckee
River Holly. She is a great mother and has never needed any intervention
in giving birth or raising a cria, which she produces like clockwork.
She is the boss in the pasture and keeps law and order among the rowdy
youth. She is shown here with Junior.
