Crescendo Violin & Piano Duo

For many years, weddings have been enhanced by the beautiful music of Lev Kardonsky and Mimi Guten, the violin-piano duo called Crescendo. For more than twenty years, these professional musicians have provided all types of music for patrons of The Old Warsaw Restaurant.

The duo has an exceptionally large repertoire and can fulfill any musical request from rock to opera, religious to Broadway show tunes. If they don’t know a special request, they learn it. Original music can be composed to fit any occasion, making it richer in personal meaning. Though Mimi and Lev are a well-known duo, they also perform as soloists. Yet these versatile musicians can easily expand their group up to six plus vocalists. Performers since childhood, both Lev and Mimi have master’s degrees in music. They have entertained at weddings, rehearsal dinners, bar mitzvahs, parties, churches, synagogues, hotels, private homes, country clubs and, of course, The Old Warsaw.
