IN
THE BEGINNING PART I
Today we have
so many ideas and theories of Jesus Christ and or God. Why are there
so many ideas? Is Jesus God? Is Jesus co-equal and co-eternal with
the Father? Did Jesus pre-exist before the foundation of the world
or was his beginning with his physical birth here on earth? Did
Jesus Christ take part in the creation? Who was the creator? You
will find throughout scripture that in fact confirms the pre-existence,
the creation, the creator, and Jesus Christ fellowship with the
Father and His glory, and there is no confusion about it in the
Bible! It is so vital to know the truth that our salvation depends
on our belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God.
According to scriptures we find that Jesus was in
the beginning with God before the world was, that is, from eternity,
before any creation took place:
Colossians 1:15
Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
John 17:24
Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with
me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given
me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
John 1:1-2
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.
Revelation 19:13
And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name
is called The Word of God.
We find in Colossians that Christ was the first
of everything, before any creature, the firstborn, God Jehovah's
creation, His son Jesus Christ. We see that there was a family of
God before the foundation, so God and Christ cannot be "one"
as so many teach. In John 17 as Christ prayed to Jehovah, Christ
spoke of the love God had for him before the foundation of the world
was ever created. John spoke of Christ being with God from the beginning
in John 1:1-2 as Christ is being called “the Word” as
confirmed in Revelation 19:13. Can there be any other way to interpret
these scriptures? It is stated so clear so simple, there is God
Jehovah, and his first creation, Jesus Christ the son of the living
God, there cannot be any other way to explain this beginning.
