DEVIL CREATED PART I

We will find in the Holy Scriptures there are many powerful beings in heaven known to us as “Angels.” There are the good heavenly beings, and then there is the dark side, demons.

The Angels of God are helpful and kind acting as agents or messengers for God, or, serving and protecting human beings. On the other side of the spiritual world we need to understand that there are evil angels, Satan, the devil, ruler of power of darkness, the leader of demonic forces. Where did Satan come from? Would the Son of the Living God “create” such an evil being? How and when did Satan receive his power, and from whom? Will the scriptures unfold the beginning and the final end of this spiritual darkness or can a spirit even be consumed and destroyed? We must go to the very beginning;

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth”
Genesis 1:1

The earth is estimated to be 3 1/2 billion years old. It’s not known definitely when life first appeared on the earth, but there is evidence of its existence at a very early period. In the beginning was God, in a mass universe of darkness, no sun or moon or earth. Then God started His creation by bringing in His first creature, a spiritual being, His first born, Jesus Christ:

Colossians 1:15
Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

Psalms 2:7
I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

Then, Angels, messengers of God, Spirits were created:

Colossians 1:16
“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, Visible and Invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers; all things were created by Him, and for Him:

As to the nature of “Angels” in the limited sense, they are spirits: of wind like velocity, subtle nature, capable of close communion with God, shares in His truth, purity, and love since they ever behold His face.

Hebrews 1:7,14
And of the angels he saith, Who maketh His angels spirits, and His ministers a flame of fire. Are they not all-ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

There is one angel who is especially brought out in the Bible, his name was Lucifer, perfect and beautiful:

Ezekiel 28:12-15
Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. . .”

What a description! A perfect creature created, and as always Christ created all things beautiful and perfect. Lucifer the highest of all angels, the highest order in command, a Cherub, what a glorious position! Lucifer had it all. . . he was created perfect there was nothing else higher, except Jehovah and Christ. What a Heavenly body; God Jehovah, Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God, Lucifer, a perfect beautiful Cherub in charge, and the holy angels, all to worship and serve the living God. So perfect and all in harmony.

There was one thing missing with Lucifer, he wasn't in charge, he wasn't the King, and because of Lucifer’s beauty, and the freedom to choose which is given to all, Lucifer thought he would take control, be the King of all. Being the most perfect angel just wasn’t satisfying enough anymore, so:

Isaiah 14:13,14
For thou has said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north, I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Ezekiel 28:15,17
Thou was perfect in thy ways from the day that thou was created, till iniquity was found in thee. Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou has corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness; I will cast thee to the ground,

Lucifer decided to take control, he wanted to be God, to be in authority so he led one third of the angels in a rebellion against the God Almighty, and there was a great war in heaven.

Revelation 12:4,7,9
And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven and did cast them to the earth. . . And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world; he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Jude 6
And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day,
