FALSE
PROPHETS PART II
These false teachers are so deceptive with their
novel doctrines that they “Creep in Unaware; Ungodly men,
denying the Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ’ (Jude 4).
And by their erroneous and counterfeit doctrines, they have denied
the Lord! Do they deny the existence of God? No! They deny Him in
other ways--mainly by claiming to be Christians, yet adhering to
false doctrines which were not the original teaching of the Church.
Matthew 24:24 (For there shall arise False Christs,
and False Prophets).
Deut. 13:1 (If there arise among you a Prophet, or a dreamer of
dreams).
2 Thes. 2:9 (Whose coming is after the working of Satan).
Rev. 13:13 (He maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth).
Jesus and His Apostles repeatedly warn of the many
False Prophets, or Teachers, that would come in the last days and
deceive many, even the very elect. Even if the sign come to pass,
even if he can make fire come down from heaven, even if the preacher
said, I know Him (God) and he keeps not His Commandments, that preacher
is a liar, and the truth is not in him” (1 John 2:4). With
the power of Satan, he will show signs and lying wonders. The word
lying means, lying miracles, lying signs and lying wonders; only
appearing to be miracles from God.
Matthew 7:15 (Beware of False Prophets, which come
to you in sheep’s clothing).
Jer. 23:16 (Hearken not unto the words of the Prophets that make
you vain).
Rom. 16:17 (Mark them which cause division and offense contrary
to the doctrine).
1 Tim.6:3-5 (If any man teach not wholesome words, withdraw thyself).
Jesus and His Apostles repeatedly warn of many False
Prophets, or Teachers, that would come in these last days and deceive,
but inwardly they are ravening wolves. These Preachers who come
professing a commission from God, whose aim is not to bring the
truth to the people, but rather to rob them of their earthly goods.
Do not listen to the words of these False Teachers who promise you
safety without requiring you to forsake your sins and to repent
and turn unto the Lord. They profess religion only for the sake
of profit for themselves. Withdraw thyself from the Church and have
no fellowship with them.
“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in
a Latter days, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to
seducing Spirits, and Doctrines of Devils (Teaching of Demons),
speaking Lies in hypocrisy” (1Tim. 4:1-2). Out of the dragon’s
(Satan) mouth there have been spewed forth not only many other fables,
but also a flood of evil spirits who “anoint these doctrines
of error, to destroy the people of God, particularly in these days
just before Christ returns.
2Cor. 11:14 (For Satan himself is Transformed into
and Angel of Light).
Eph. 5:1-6 (Let no man deceive you with vain words).
Col. 2:8 (Beware lest any man spoil you through Tradition of the
World).
2Peter 2:1 (There shall be False Teachers among you).
There are sincere theologians who teach against
the works of Satan and his demons, some of them vividly even going
so far as to cast out demons. Is it possible for such to be deluded
by the very devil they preach against? They may even urge acceptance
of Jesus Christ as their Personal Savior, but they do not teach
the true gospel of our Lord. “For such are False Apostles,
deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the Apostles of
Christ. And it is no secret, for Satan himself is Transformed into
an Angel of Light” (2 Corinthians 11:13-14).
Let no one deceive or persuade you that all things
are innocent, or these things is of human nature. They are all sin
and abomination in the sight of God; any one who practices them
are the children of Satan. “Beware lest any man spoil you
with their philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of the
world (Matthew 15:9). Any doctrine that is not built upon the plain
statements of Jesus Christ is not “sound doctrine.”
Its inspiration comes from the wrong source. It is imperative that
people now dig deep-down to the rock-to see if they are grounded
on that which cannot be moved, (that is, upon the words of Jesus
Christ).
1Tim (Giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines
of devils).
1John 4:1 (Believe not every spirit, because many False Prophets
are in the world).
Matt. 24:5 (Many shall come in my name, and shall deceive many).
Jer. 14:14 (The Prophets prophesy lies in my Name, I sent them not).
