MOTHER OF HARLOTS PART II

Now the ten horns of Dan. 7:20 is nothe same ten horns of Rev. 17:16. Now Daniel saw a “Little Horn” coming up among these ten, before, whom these first three were “plucked up by the roots”, Dan. 7:8. That leaves 7 horns, or kingdoms. Of the little horn Dan. 7:20 says: “his look was more stout that his fellows. These ten horns, kingdoms, were: Germany, France, Switzerland, England, Spain, Portugal, Austria-Czechoslovakia, and North Africa. Three horns that were “plucked up by the roots”.

Dan. 7:8 were the Vandal’s (Italy), Heruli’s (N. Africa), and the Ostrogoth’s (Hungary-Yogoslavia), by Justine after the Roman Empire fell (376-476). Since, in the 17th chapter of Rev. the woman rode on all seven of the heads of the beast their pictured, and since she rode none of the heads but only the last seven of the horns of the Rev. 13th. It follows that the seven horns of the “healed beast” of the 13th chapter formed the seven heads of the beast of the 17th chapter! John saw the beast, five are fallen, one is and one is yet to come, Rev. 17:10. The five that are fallen are the five during the 1260 years in which power was given, by religious authority, for the healed beast to continue.

Two symbols are used; first: the woman, second: a harlot. In the Bible a woman symbolizes the true Church as a chaste virgin to Christ, or pure woman; while the harlot, or whore is a corrupt Church system. The results? “And the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wind, false doctrines, of her fornication.” This woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet robes and decked with gold and precious stones and very rich. That golden cup was full of those abominable false doctrines that she gave to the people as the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

Rev. 17:5 Mother of Harlots, and abomination of the earth 2 Thess 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work Titus 1:16 But in works they deny Him, being abominable, and disobedient. Why is she called “Mystery Babylon?” At the time that John saw this Harlot Church system, he was given a preview of the Roman Church Drunken with the Blood of the Martyrs of Jesus. She was the State Church of the Roman Empire, and claimed to be the true Christian Church; but, in fact, she adopted and white-washed so many pagan customs, that she became even more pagan. It was a mystery how this fallen Church could fool the whole world, and to have all nations commit fornication with her, Rev. 18:3. Babylon means confusion, and harlots symbolizes the Protestant Churches that are teaching her pagan and corrupt doctrine. It is Spiritual fornication, or adultery in God’s sight. Rev. 20:4 Souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus
John saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints and the martyrs of Jesus. Many martyrs had fallen at the hand of this great Church system, but she came to the end of her long period of riding the beast or Roman Empire in about 1814.
