REWARDS
OF THE SAVED PART III
John 3:13 No man hath ascended up to heaven, but
He that came down
Prov. 30:4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? Eph.
4:10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above
John 16:28 I came forth from the father, and am come into the world
The Son of man is come down from heaven to reveal
the Divine will. The incarnation of Christ is represented under
the notion of His coming down from Heaven to dwell upon earth.
Christ is the only one who has ascended up into
heaven from the dead. When Jesus has returned to this earth as King
of Kings, Ruler of all nations on earth, then He will say to the
saved: “Come, ye blessed, inherit the kingdom prepared for
you from the foundation of the world” Matt. 25:34. Christ
said” Where I go, ye cannot come” John 8:22. No one
has ascended into heaven but Christ, He had to be the first to be
resurrected.
Acts 2:34 For David is not ascended into the heavens
John 3:13 No man hath ascended up to heaven
Rom. 8:34 Who is even at the right hand of God
Here we see the Bible says David is not ascended
into the heavens, but he also is waiting for that glorious day of
the return of Christ. But, Jesus of Nazareth they saw the ascension
of Jesus Christ. He, Christ, not David, is now sitting at the right
hand of God waiting for the day to call His saints out of the graves
to be with Him for eternity!
Rom 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly,
circumcision of the heart
Phil. 3:3 We are the circumcision, which worship God in the Spirit
When a Gentile accepts Christ, he is grafted in,
an becomes partaker of the root of the olive tree, or promises made
to Abraham, Rom 11:16-24. They become children of Abraham through
Christ. “If ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s
seed, and heir according to the promise.” Abraham, circumcision
was a sign of the righteousness of the faith he had before he was
circumcised. He was already a righteous man, circumcised in the
heart, as we Christians must be, Col. 2:11-13. By this true circumcision,
both Jews and Gentiles become both children of God and children
of Abraham, spiritual Jews, heirs according to the promise, Gal.
3:26-29. The outward sign is not needful in the New Testament, but
it must be of the heart fro both Jews and Gentiles.
We believe in the rewards of good and evil. But
according to scriptures the rewards will not begin until Christ
returns with the sound of the trumpets with His Angels, 1 Cor. 15:52-53.
We believe in a Heaven so Sacred that no one has ascended into Heaven
except our Saviour Jesus Christ. We believe in a Hell so hot, it
does not just burn or scorch, but burns man into ashes, Mal. 4:1-3.
Heaven is promised for the saved; but Hell is promised for the sinners.
Daniel 12:2
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their
eyes; and their shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying,
neither shall there be any more pain; for former things are passed
away” Rev. 21:17 This is a promise.
