"Christina has been a member of the Allen High School
softball team for the past 3 years. Christina made the

starter since that time. In 1997, her freshmen year, she
was selected by District 10-5A coaches as Offensive
Player of the Year. In 1998, her sophomore year, she was
selected by District 10-5A coaches as 2nd team all

the ability to play several postions including, pitcher,
shortstop, left, center, and right field.
"Christina is an excellent hitter and base runner. She
poses a threat to any team when she is at the plate or
on the base paths. Christina has a great eye for the ball
and is a tremendous power hitter. Christina is the
quickest player on our team, serving as a valuable offensive
weapon. When Christina gets on base, there is little doubt
that she will score.
"On and off the field, Christina displays great leadership
skills. She serves as a wonderful role model to her peers.
Christina excels both on and off the field and is a model
student athlete. She maintains above average grades and is
enrolled in advanced courses to better prepare herself for
college.
"All factors listed make Christina a solid canidate for
an athletic scholarship. She has a profound knowledge of
the game, not to mention her overwhelming athletic ability.
Christina has the ability to be a major contributor to any
program she is involved in. Her determination to win and
athletic prowness make her a tremendously talented softball
player. Christina, beyond a shadow of a doubt, is a player
any coach would want on their team."

This profile of Christina Johnson is being given by Gary Reneau,
Head Coach and Manager of the Texas Flash, an 18-and-under ASA Gold softball team.
"Christina has a strong attitude to succeed and a very strong
work ethic. She is a multi-position player. Christina has blazing speed
and a strong arm, which makes the outfield her strongest position.
"Christina can contribute at shortstop, and would make a good
#3 pitcher. Christina hits the ball hard, mostly line drives.
She hit 404 with my team, Flash, in the summer of 1998. We have just
started our Fall season this past weekend (10/10), where Christina
had several good hits including a game winning single in one of our
bracket games."
