Binoculars
|
Lightweight, powerful, and rugged are
the main features of these special operations grade binoculars.
A pair contains a range finder (the readout in the middle
of your HUD in binocular mode) and a selection between
4X and 8X zoom factors. Binoculars are especially useful
for recon operations, where detecting the enemy early
is crucial.

Puck
(Decoy Heart Beat)
|
Your enemies' senses can easily be fooled
with the use of a false heart beat sensor. How this particular
counter-surveillance device works is that it sends out
a false heart beat signature to any other heart beat sensor
within range.

|
Heart Beat Senso
|
Many of us owe a large potion of our
victories to this small device. The heart beat sensor
detects the heart beat signatures of other humans within
a small radius. The heart beat sensor is capable of detecting
a person even through thick barriers, making it extremely
useful for recon operations. However there are many ways
of confusing it, nonetheless the heart beat sensor is
still well worth its weight in gold or blood.

|
Heart Beat Sensor Jammer
|
The best way to protect yourself from
the enemies' bullets is to never get detected in the first
place, and the heart beat sensor jammer is one of the
most effective devices for accomplishing this task. The
heart beat sensor jammer does exactly what its name says,
it cloaks you from the enemies' heart beat sensors, thus
rendering you invisible on the map.

S.A. Heart Beat Sensor
|
This item works the same way as the
original heart beat sensor only that it's a stand alone
version which can be planted on the ground to give you
a constant readout of the area in its fixed position.
While all this is happening you're free to draw out another
item in your inventory while the SA heart beat sensor
illuminates the enemy making it perfect for ambushes.
However it can be destroyed.

|
S.A. Heart Beat Sensor Jammer
|
This item has the same effect as its
mobile counterpart except like the item above it can be
left alone on the ground and can also be destroyed. It's
a good way to turn your hunters into the hunted.

Flashbangs
|
The flash bang grenade is used to knock
out enemies without harming them and leaving them vulnerable
to attack from the CT team. However in this game the flash
bang is modeled much more realistically. First the flash
bang has a longer effect even after consciousness has
returned. After the main effects are gone your vision
is obscured and a colored spot is modeled, also the bang
from the grenade is much loader and leaves a ringing in
your speakers like the ringing in your ears. Also if a
flash bang is too close too you not only will it knock
you out but possibly kill or incapacitate you, so throwing
a flash bang in a room filled with both terrorist and
hostages is not as safe an option anymore.

Frag Grenades
|
Fragmentation grenades are primarily
used to clear out rooms and this role as not changed in
Rogue Spear though there as been some changes. The fragmentation
grenades in Rogue Spear are much more realistic. They
have a larger blast radius making inaccurate throws and
grenade attacks much harder to run away from, the explosions
are much more realistic looking, and the explosion leaves
a scorch mark.

|
Smoke Grenades
|
The name of this grenade pretty much
tells what it does. It produces a smoke screen which can
either shield you from your enemies' eyes or to mark your
position so your allies can find you. Also because snipers
have been added something is needed to keep them from
dominating the game so smoke grenades are used to spoil
a sniper's shot at you. The smoke grenade can also be
used offensively. It can shroud an offensive move from
the enemy defenses so the element of surprise is possessed
by you, and because the smoke grenade produce barely any
sound the enemy won't even hear anything.

Breaching Charge
|
The breaching charge is one of the many
techniques the breacher has to get the assault team into
a terrorist held building or room. The breacher uses a
thick strand of prima cord to blast through a barricaded
door. Aside from breaching the door quickly and efficiently
it will also stun any terrorist who happens to be in close
proximity of the detonation. However anyone too close
to the door will be severely injured and that person could
be a hostage so make sure that hostages are not near the
door you plan to breach.

C4 Explosive
|
When the termination of a subject is
absolutely necessary special operation troops can always
rely on the remotely detonated C4 explosive to get the
job done. Through the use of a remote detonator, you can
make sure yourself that the subject is taken out. Unlike
the fragmentation grenade which has a delayed fuse, you
control when the C4 goes off. However the C4 produces
no flying debris thus making the lethal radius of C4 much
smaller that that of a fragmentation grenade.
