Light Uniform

|
The light uniform class is primarily used
in night and recon operations. It sacrifices direct protection
for stealth and mobility in hopes to not get detected since
the less you have on you the less you noise you produce.
It features a lightweight Level IIa tactical vest which
is capable of spoiling the penetration of a low powered
pistol round. It also features standard soft-soled rubber
boots, Nomex balaclava and Nomex/Kevlar gloves. The light
uniform however features no helmet so shots to the head
are immediately fatal. The light uniform class are used
chiefly by snipers and recon specialists. |
|
Medium Uniform

|
While not as stealthy as a light uniform or
as strong as a heavy type, the medium uniform features a
compromise of both classes. It features a Level II waist-length
tactical vest, soft-soled rubber boots, Nomex balaclava,
Nomex/Kevlar gloves, and for added protection it incorporates
a Kevlar helmet to give the operative a chance against headshots.
The helmet is capable of stopping pistol and some submachine
gun rounds. The tactical vest is effective against most
pistol rounds, some submachine gun fire, and the buckshot
shotgun round. This is the primary uniform class for the
assault specialists in CT teams around the world. This particular
uniform class is probably the one you'll be using the most.

Heavy Uniform

|
The heavy uniform class trades stealth for
all out protection and armor. Because of the sheer size
and amount of armor involved, the heavy uniform class is
relatively "loud" and un-stealthy. However the Level III
body armor, which extends down to the groin, is capable
of stopping all but the most powerful of rifle rounds. The
heavy uniform class also contains a facemask attached to
the Kevlar helmet which provides excellent protection from
flying debris. Desert, Camo, and Woods heavy uniform class
do not feature a face mask or groin protection since these
uniforms are used primarily in outdoor environments. This
class of uniforms also features Kevlar protection from the
knee down. The heavy uniform class is usually used by the
breacher, demolitions expert, and the heavy weapons specialist
since these classes of operatives are likely to face the
most danger. |
