H&K MP5A4
|
The H&K MP5 is the weapon of choice
for CT (counter terrorism) operatives around the world.
It has a light weight, compact design, and fairly high
accuracy making it the ideal choice of arms for CQB (close
quarter battles). Cal: 9mm X 19mm Parabellum ROF: SS,
3RB, FA Mag: 30 rounds

|
H&K MP5SD5
|
The suppressed version of the H&K MP5
features a redesigned grip around the barrel and an integral
suppressor. The suppressor reported to reduce the sound
of gun fire to a point where the loudest sound is the
bolt operating. However the use of the suppressor results
in a decreased amount of muzzle velocity and stopping
power. Cal: 9mm X 19mm Parabellum ROF: SS, 3RB, FA Mag:

H&K MP5K-PDW
|
When a situation calls for something
smaller than a standard SMG (submachine gun) but a pistol
will not suffice, CT (counter terrorism) operatives turn
to the MP5K, the compacted version of the H&K MP5. And
because it is smaller it is naturally easier and faster
to aim. However it loses some of the accuracy and power
of the standard MP5 but can let out a devastating 900
rounds per minute. Cal: 9mm X 19mm Parabellum ROF: SS,
3RB, FA Mag: 30 rounds

|
H&K MP5/10A2
|
This is basically the same thing as
a standard MP5 just chambered for the more powerful 10mm
round, developed during the 1980s. The MP5/10 has a longer
effective range and more stopping power than that of the
standard MP5, while still retaining the same great qualities
of the original weapon. Cal: 10mm ROF: SS, 3RB, FA Mag:
30 rounds

|
|
H&K MP5/10SD
|
Basically an MP5/10 with a suppressor
attached to it. The suppressor adds a great deal of stealth
to the operative using the weapon and has even more power
than the MP5SD5 due to the heavier 10mm round. However
the suppressor is not quite as efficient as the integral
one on the MP5SD5. Cal: 10mm ROF: SS, 3RB, FA Mag: 30
rounds

H&K UMP 45
|
This is the weapon that CT operatives
dream about having in their hands, and the weapon that'll
make a terrorist think twice before pissing off the UN.
The UMP 45 is arguably the supreme SMG (submachine gun)
in Rogue Spear as well as in the real world. To start
off the weapon is even lighter than the MP5K making it
even easier and faster to aim than almost any SMG. Even
though it is smaller than the MR5K the UMP 45 can shoot
at a satisfactory distance, accurately, and with an adequate
amount of power. This is largely due to the heavier and
more powerful .45 caliber round. Cal: .45 ACP ROF: SS,
3RB, FA Mag: 25 rounds
|
|
|
H&K UMP 45SD
|
The UMP 45SD combines the awesome performance
of the standard UMP 45 with suppression on par with other
suppressed SMGs. However like any other suppressed weapon
the UMP 45SD has a reduced ballistic performance that
does not let it hit as hard as the standard UMP 45. However
the reduction in performance is only slight and still
leaves the UMP 45SD as a very lethal and stealthy weapon.
Cal: .45 ACP ROF: SS, 3RB, FA Mag: 25 rounds

Colt M4 Carbine
|
The Colt M4 is essentially a later model
of the CAR15 which is a compacted M16. The M4 features
a longer barrel and a wider grip to accommodate the M203
grenade launcher (The M203 is not featured in Rogue Spear).
Operatives use the M4 when the power of an assault rifle
is needed but in close quarters, which would require a
compact easy to aim weapon. However the M4 trades bulk
for a slight reduction in range and accuracy. Cal: 5.56
X 45mm NATO ROF: SS, FA Mag: 30 rounds

Colt M16A2
|
The M16A2 is the variant currently being
used the most by US armed forces. Despite its age the
M16 still remains a very formidable weapon. In the -A2
version the most notable difference is the elimination
of the fully automatic rate of fire mode. This change
forces the individual operator to use carefully aimed
shots and to conserve ammunition rather than suppress
the enemy with a spray of rapidly fired rounds and emptying
magazines in less than three seconds. The M16 is one of
the larger assault rifles which also makes it one of the
farthest and hardest hitting of the type. However because
of its large size the operator tends to take a longer
time aiming the weapon than if the weapon was a smaller
carbine or SMG, thus making the M16 not the best choice
in CQB (close quarter battles). However overall the M16
provides a fairly good balance of size and power. Cal:
5.56 X 45mm NATO ROF: SS, 3RB, FA Mag: 30 rounds

Enfield L85A1 Individual Weapon
|
The Enfield L85 was developed in the
1970s and was extensively used in Northern Ireland. The
first version of the L85 had many reliability problems,
but the A1 version has fixed much of these issues. The
L85A1 is fitted with a 4X optical sight which is useful
in combat, though some claim too powerful for street fighting.
With the use of a bullpup design the L85A1 has the accuracy
and power of the M16 but with a smaller size making it
very useful in both open areas and close quarters. However
the L85A1 is larger than the Steyr AUG making it a bit
slower to point and shoot. Cal: 5.56 X 45mm NATO ROF:
SS, 3RB, FA Mag: 30 rounds

|
H&K G3A3
|
Like other Heckler & Koch weapons the
G3A3 is an extremely reliable weapon. So reliable that
it has earned the phrase of being almost jam proof (this
is of course if the gun is maintained well). Currently
the G3 is the standard Heckler & Koch assault rifle. Like
the M16 its large size provides for a lot of power and
accuracy. Unfortunately the G3A3 is even larger than the
M16, its relatively massive bulk does not make it a very
suitable weapon for CQB (close quarter battles). Cal:
7.62 X 51mm NATO ROF: SS, FA Mag: 20 rounds
|
|
|
G36K
|
The G36 is the latest line of assault
rifles from Heckler & Koch. This particular model has
a shortened barrel. The compact size makes it a good choice
for CQB operations and is still able to give fire power
approaching that of a full scale rifle. However like all
shortened rifles the G36K trades bulk for slightly less
accuracy and power. Cal: 5.56 X 45mm NATO ROF: SS, 3RB,
FA Mag: 30 rounds

M14
|
Ever since it entered service in 1957
the M14 battle rifle has seen front line combat in a lot
of the conflicts involving the United States in the second
half of the 20th century, from Vietnam to Desert Storm
and beyond. The M14 has remained popular with the USSOCOM
(United States Special Operations Command) mainly because
of the great deal of power and long range accuracy it
offers. However like the G3A3 the large bulk of this rifle
prevents it from being used in CQB. Its primary role is
to be used in fairly opened areas and to pick off targets
from afar. Cal: 7.62 X 51mm NATO ROF: SS, FA Mag: 20 rounds

|
Steyr AUG
|
With a compact bullpup design and a
light weight body, the AUG allows the operator to aim
rapidly and to dish out the fire power of a much larger
rifle like the M16. The weapon can be used in situations
that might include both wide open fighting and CQB. This
makes it like the M4 carbine, L85A1, and the G36K, a very
versatile weapon. Cal: 5.56 X 45mm NATO ROF: SS, FA Mag:
30 rounds
