PRACTICE SCHEDULE CHANGES
WEBSTER POOL IS OPEN AGAIN!!!!!
We are having a special one time only practice on Wednesday, Feb 3rd from 6:30-8. Please come.
There is no practice on the following date-Friday, Feb 5, Saturday, Feb 6; Sat, Feb 13; Fri, Feb 26; Sat, Feb 27; Monday, March 1.
ANNOUNCING THE 2nd COACH'S CHALLENGE
Since Coach Kay Lynne Firsching has begun training and competing in swimming since September 07, she is issuing the following challenge to all Spirit Swimmers.
If you are 12 and under and you can swim faster than I can at the end of the season in any event I have competed in this coming season, you get a T shirt that says,"I can swim faster than my coach!"
If you are 13 and over and you can swim 50% faster any event I have competed in this season, at the end of the short course season, you get a T shirt that says, " I can swim faster as my coach!"
Here are my times so far-
50 Free-41.18
100 Free-1:39.27
200 Free-3:47.13
500 Free-10:14.46 Remember, I will be getting faster as the season progresses. ( My long course times converted are already faster than those!)
You will have to work to stay ahead of me.
