Solomon Boss was the son of Henry Boss and Mary Goss.

Born in 1810 in North Carolina, Solomon

married Melinda Henness in 1844 in Shelby County, Indiana. Solomon and Melinda

were the parents of Mary Jane, Daniel and Elias Henry.
