William Newton Dickson married Mary Jane Boss in 1862 in Putnam County, Missouri.

Born in 1845 in Shelby County, Indiana, Mary Jane was the daughter of

Solomon Boss and Mary Henness.

William and Mary Jane had 13 children:

Elizabeth, Ida, John, Florence, George, Mary,

William Solomon, Lois, Hiram, Joseph, Thomas and Ruth.
