| Great to see a site working on the Peter(s) family. My great grandmother was Anna Peters (b1849). She decended from Casper III via John who left Heidelberg Twp for Hollenback Twp in Luzerne County, PA in about 1810. Thanks for the help. | Looking for early history of my family Peter(s) which moved from Pennsylvania(Bucks/Lehigh) to southeastern TN(then northwestern NC) around 1800. Known patriarch was Abraham Peter(s),St. born 1769. Does this line start in your area that you know of? Seems like I saw a ship's manifest one time that had a lot of Catarinas and Elizabeths as well as Jacobs, Abrahams and Johns. | I am a direct descendant of Ulrich Peter through the marriage of Salome Peter to Simon Wehr then Jacob Wehr/Rachel Krumm, then Thomas Wehr and Catherine Fritz, then to Frank Wehr and Mary Hunsicker, who are my great grandparents. I found a few photos online and have some myself. Also there are some Peters buried at Ben Salem Church near Andreas, PA. There is a Casper and Anna Elizabeth Ruebsam/Ribsam Book. I am trying to find out about Johannes or John Peter Born about 1752 and his wife Anna Marie.
