Our little slice of heaven in the Ozarks is now available for rental. This 1700 square foot log cabin vacation home was built in 1994. We purchased it in 1999 because of the outstanding views, secluded picturesque setting, and charming atmosphere. We've been fixing it up ever since and sharing it with those we love. We've added pine flooring, ponderosa pine doors with iron latch hardware, ponderosa pine tables and built-in cabinets, central heating and air-conditioning, new exterior stain and shutters, rustic decorations including quilts and taxidermy, a large campfire area with horseshoe pits, and a HUGE screen porch with a rock fireplace. We love the atmosphere, the lake, the nature, and the experiences we've had there; whether it's fishing or swimming down by the lake, taking nature hikes, tubing and skiing in the lake, taking day trips to Arkansas or Branson, or just sitting back to watch the view and play some pool. All the neighbors are friendly when you can find them and it seems like we have the entire lake to ourselves most of the time!
