June 5th 2000: 60th Anniversary of the evacuation of 338,000 BEF and French Forces May 27-June 4 1940 from Dunkirk, and the final sailing of the remaining members of the Dunkirk Association who have now disbanded the club due to decreasing membership. In 1940 Churchill turns disaster into a national rallying call and announces the "end for the Battle of France and the beginning of the Battle Of Britain" as Paris falls and France seeks an Armistice...Goering surmises it will take 2 weeks to take Britain...  The first tune was composed by P/M Donald Maclean whilst a POW having been captured along with the entire 51st Highland Division at St. Valery-en-Caux in early 1940 and the moving Isla St.Clair tracks were written by her mother Zetta who lost 2 brothers during the war.
