Texas Wings is an Academy of Model Aeronautics Charter Club.
We have existed for more than 20 years, for the enjoyment, and promotion, of the Hobby of building and flying Radio Controlled Model Aircraft.
Club membership has typically averaged 60 members, from a diverse background of professions, many in the aviation/electronics Industries. Relaxed, family-oriented, membership focused on 'sport flying', and promoting our Hobby through community involvement and commitment to flight-training & support of new aero-modelers. We participate in Community awareness events at local air-shows, museums, and educational facilities.
Club Meetings are the first Tuesday of each Month, in the Aviation Building, at Tarrant County College North Campus, Room 104, 7:00PM. Marine Creek Parkway @ North Loop 820, check directions page, for how to find us.
MEMBERSHIP:
Annual dues are $30 (age under 18, over 62), $60 Standard, single fee includes all family members.
First-time Club membership fee will be pro-rated at $5/month. Current AMA Insurance Card required.
