Jesus Myth

SOUL MATES

The Movie

Jesus of India is a novel. It is a fictional tale. But what of the story of Jesus in the Gospels? Is that fiction too? You decide.

"ALL TRUTH is safe, and nothing else is safe; and he who keeps back the truth, or withholds it from men, from motives of
expediency, is either a coward or a criminal, or both."

MAX MULLER,
The Science of Religion, p. 11.

Despite the above quote, the truth of Jesus' life may still be hidden. As one of the early Popes stated,

"What profit has not that fable of Christ brought us!"

Pope Leo X.

March 4th 1966 may have been the beginning of the end for John Lennon. On this day, an interview with John Lennon by reporter Maureen Cleave was published in the London Evening Standard,

"Christianity will go. It will vanish and shrink. I needn't
argue with that; I'm right and I will be proved right. We're
more popular than Jesus now; I don't know which will go
first -- rock 'n' roll or Christianity. Jesus was all right but
his disciples were thick and ordinary. It's them twisting
it that ruins it for me."

Mark Chapman, a devout, born again Christian, read these words and later killed John Lennon.
