David Harkness McKellar

Notes: David was an early settler and explorer in New Zealand who developed ranch properties there. He discovered a lake which still bears his name.

Later he moved his operations to Mexico, where he was one of the first ranchers to fence his land. A neighboring rancher, who was accustomed to watering his cattle on McKellar land, had him assassinated.
