Daniel O'Donnell

Notes: According to family tradition, O'Donnell attended medical school in France, and then entered the U.S. through New Orleans.

According to New Orleans ship lists, an O'Donnell of Irish origin came into New Orleans on the schooner Felix (from Havana and Charleston) on 27 Nov, 1820.

The first record of him in Washington County, TN is as witness to a will in 1826. He was a teacher. According to a deed in 1857, he lived next to Barnes May by Cherokee Creek.
