Rare Monogram static model kit body features opening hood to reveal detailed engine.
Chrome model kit Chevy sport wheels were turned down by hand into wheel inserts for that nostalgic muscle car look. Interior was formed into a 1/4" deep platform with full dash & steering column. Driver is an altered "Fly" unit.
Built as Monogram would have in the 60's with a little twist! Project took approx. 40 hours. A "step by step" article about building this car appears in the April 2002 issue of Scale Auto Racing News.
