This is my 8 year old granddaughter, Joann.  She has been sewing with me for a couple of years.  This summer she made her first doll quilt.  It is a Nine Patch.  She hand pieced all the blocks and I machine quilted it for her.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

This quilt is a family group project. The patterns were from the 1992 Sampler Quilt Calendar by Oxmoor House. It was hand pieced by my Aunt Irene (on the left who lives in California) and designed by my Aunt Hazel (on the right who lives in Texas). I hand quilted it and we presented it to Aunt Irene when she came to visit us in Texas in 1997.
