The next day Pete and Harriet took them on a tour of the vicinity, showing them the second oldest Episcopal church in Georgia and the third oldest in the country, Christ Church, Frederica. After taking group pictures at the Celtic Cross which celebrates the works of the Wesley brothers, they ventured on to the next stop, the historic fort. They saw a film about Fort Frederica, but since it was getting close to lunch time, they did not view the Colonial fort and settlement. The opulent mansions on Sea Island, other resorts on the island, and various other places frequented by the rich and famous. were impressive sights along the quick tour of the island. They arrived at Sweet Mamma's just in time for lunch with the "real people" (i.e., neither rich nor famous, but ready for lunch). After a short rest and change of clothes, they all went out to the Frederica House for a wonderful evening meal. The shrimp and flounder were outstanding.
